This role will collaborate with various departments to oversee technical training needs. By creating programs to meet the plant's goals, you will help achieve strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:- Evaluate training and development needs through interviews, focus groups, and discussions with department SMEs and managers
- Recommend, design, organize, plan, and deliver various types of technical and skills training for employees
- Collaborate closely with department SMEs to understand the technical elements of roles and processes and develop LMS modules
- Deliver training and development programs in multiple formats
- Communicate updates to the training curriculum and processes to plant management and employees
- Administrate training software
- Own the organization and set up of training content and reporting
- Research training and development resources outside of the learning system currently in place
- Take part in the corporate training team to standardize leadership across the organization
- Work closely with human resources to implement apprenticeship programs
- Manage execution of required regulator and annual compliance training
- Evaluate program effectiveness utilizing feedback and surveys
- 1-3+ years of training experience in a manufacturing environment
- 1+ year of experience in human resources
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Training & Development or related field
- CPG training experience preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (or related software)
- Familiar with designing courses in an LMS
- Interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work with diverse backgrounds with a wide range of people
- Experience designing and implementing effective employee development programs
