Stitcher Operator

Vivid Impact is seeking a skilled Stitcher Operator to join our team. As a Stitcher Operator, you will play a critical role in producing high-quality, finished products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate daily work assignments with the Team Lead to ensure efficient production.
• Gather all necessary materials for assigned production tasks, including bindery equipment and supplies.
• Set up and operate stitching machinery within the bindery department to meet customer specifications and quality standards.
• Operate additional bindery equipment, including grommeting, drilling, shrink-wrapping, taping, cutting, marrying, collating, inserting, and gluing.
• Verify the accuracy, quality, and cost efficiency of all completed products.
• Perform skid loading, tagging, labeling, and material handling as needed.
• Assist with special projects as directed by the Manager.
• Complete all necessary paperwork and maintain accurate production records.
• Follow company safety protocols and work procedures at all times.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Requirements:

• Previous experience with bindery and stitching operations is required.
• Proficiency in operating or learning a range of bindery equipment, including grommet machines, drills, stitchers, cutters, folders, and small hand tools.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and handle materials on a regular basis.
• Capacity to lift and move materials: up to 10 lbs regularly, 25 lbs frequently, and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to read and comprehend instructions, memos, and correspondence.
• A strong attention to detail, a solid work ethic, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
