Position Overview
The Service Manual Publication Specialist is responsible for obtaining approvals from various teams and utilizing the authoring system to extract and request composition.

Key Responsibilities
- Complete Global Service Authoring (GSA) work requests and re-authoring projects as needed.
- Secure technical leaders' sign-off for each section of manuals before final extraction and draft reviews.
- Assist in the composition of owner manuals and manage service information elements (SIEs) and owner information elements (OIEs) within GSA as required.
- Ensure compliance with Global Service Information Production Standards (GSIPS) and proper tagging of information.
- Address special work requests and projects as necessary.
- Participate in weekly project review meetings and activities as required.
- Enhance composition capabilities and streamline global customer needs to improve efficiency.

Qualifications
- Proficient in PTC Arbortext Editor and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Word, Excel, and Access).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly convey complex information.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Familiarity with the automotive service industry; prior experience with SAE J2450 is advantageous.
- Understanding of authoring standards and systems.
- Background in technical writing with knowledge of Global Service Authoring tools preferred.
- High analytical ability to manage extensive data sets for report generation.
- Exceptional organizational skills.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic production environment while adhering to delivery schedules.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience.
