The Good Samaritan Society is seeking a compassionate and adaptable Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team as a Travel LPN. This opportunity allows an LPN to work in various GSS locations within a 150-mile radius from home address, providing care with competitive pay, mileage reimbursement, flexibility, and no contract requirement.
Job SummaryDemonstrate knowledge of nursing principles for the resident in the relevant clinical setting. Provide care with technical support to healthcare professionals as needed. Document resident interactions and outcomes related to resident care, medication, behavior, activity, and dietary.
Responsibilities- Assess residents and administer medications or treatments as ordered.
- Ensure the health, comfort, and safety of residents.
- Contribute to the assessment of residents and provide technical support to healthcare professionals.
- Counsel residents, family members, and/or resident advocates on prevention and treatment plans under the direction of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician.
Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred. Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges.
