Job Description

We are seeking an adaptable and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team as a travel LPN. This role involves working in various locations within a 150-mile radius from your home address, providing care to residents in need. As a travel LPN, you will have the opportunity to work in different settings, meet new people, and gain valuable experience.

  • Provide nursing care to residents, including administering medications, treatments, and performing tests to evaluate resident status
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans based on resident needs
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure effective care delivery
  • Document resident interactions, outcomes, and any changes to their care plan
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A current LPN license with state nursing board approval or multi-state licensure privileges
  • Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program
  • At least 400 hours of experience as an LPN in a long-term care setting
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with residents, family members, and healthcare professionals
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records and documentation systems
