We are seeking a skilled Anesthesia Technician to join our team at MultiCare Health System. As an Anesthesia Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our anesthesia care services.
Key Responsibilities- Procure, maintain, and ensure the availability of supplies and equipment necessary for anesthesia care.
- Assist professional nursing staff and anesthesiologists during intubation and extubation phases of anesthesia.
- Assist in preparation and placement of special invasive and non-invasive lines/procedures.
- Provide room turnover for anesthesia and other areas of the procedure or operating room, as time and skill allow.
- Graduation from an accredited anesthesia technician/technologist program is preferred.
- Current certification as an Anesthesia Technician through the American Society of Anesthesia Technicians and Technologists (ASATT) or, CNA, MA or EMT certification is preferred.
- One year of experience in an Anesthesia Tech position in lieu of certification may be considered.
- BLS Certification is required.
