Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Anesthesia Technician to join our team at Virginia Mason Franciscan Health. As an Anesthesia Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient administration of anesthesia care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities

Assist licensed anesthesia providers in the acquisition, preparation, and application of equipment and supplies required for anesthesia care.

Prepare and maintain patient monitoring devices and anesthesia delivery systems before, during, and after anesthesia.

Operate a variety of mechanical, pneumatic, and electronic equipment used to monitor, evaluate, and manage patients undergoing anesthesia.

Requirements

Graduation from an accredited Anesthesia Technology program or two years of related work experience as an Anesthesia Technician or other healthcare provider.

Current certification as an Anesthesia Technician through the American Society of Anesthesia Technicians and Technologists (ASATT) is preferred.

Current healthcare provider American Heart Association BLS certification is required.
