Position Overview
MyKelly is currently looking for a Preclinical Technologist I to join our innovative team.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Compensation: $20 - $25 per hour, depending on experience

Employment Type: Full-Time; Direct Hire

Role Responsibilities:
  • Conduct basic biomethods as an in vivo technologist and perform complex procedures based on functional group requirements and study specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), policies, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Execute precise data entry utilizing laboratory information systems and databases.
  • Maintain thorough documentation as mandated by protocols and SOPs.
  • Contribute to the formulation of new procedures and enhancements of existing methodologies.
  • Provide training to junior technologists as necessary.
  • Oversee general laboratory cleanliness, manage consumables and reagents, and ensure equipment is maintained through calibration, validation, and monitoring.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a science-related discipline is preferred; a high school diploma is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a laboratory or animal care environment, with specific experience in mouse handling for dosing and sample collection.
  • Capability to execute a diverse range of animal biomethods and/or intricate procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative team spirit.
  • Willingness to undergo training in a designated location for two weeks (expenses covered).
