MEG Technologist

The MEG Technologist plays a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of the MEG Lab at the Dorothy Mangurian Neuroimaging Suite at UF Health. This position supports the Scientific Director of the lab and is responsible for clinical work and research in patients with epilepsy, brain tumors, and other neurological conditions.

• Support the MEG Lab operations under the supervision of the Scientific Director
• Conduct clinical work and research in patients with neurological conditions
• Operate the MEG scanner as an instrument for basic scientific research
• Collaborate with researchers from the University of Florida campus

• Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience
• Preferred qualifications include: Bachelor's degree in neuroscience, psychology, computer science, or related fields; CMEG and/or R.EEG.T certificate; experience with computer systems, programming, and database management; experience with medical research methodology and design; familiarity with medical terminology
• Licensure/Certification/Registration: Basic Life Support within 90 days of hire; Registered Electroencephalographic Technologist (R.EEG.T) qualifications within 18 months of hire; Credentialed in Magnetoencephalography (CMEG) within 18 months of hire
