We are seeking a highly experienced Study Director to lead our preclinical research team in the development and execution of in vivo studies for neurodegenerative diseases. The successful candidate will have a strong background in neurobiology and pharmacology, with expertise in mouse models of neurological diseases.
Key Responsibilities:- Design, oversee, and conduct in-life drug efficacy studies in various neurological disease mouse models.
- Provide scientific guidance and support to clients, ensuring high-quality service delivery and risk mitigation.
- Lead technical teams, ensuring adequate training and mentoring to support preclinical services.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and practices, and maintain accurate records.
- Ph.D. in a life science or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 4 years' experience in a contract research laboratory, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology industry.
- Industry experience in neurobiology and pharmacology is required.
- Excellent management and supervisory skills, with proven experience in mentoring direct reports.
- Strong leadership skills, including the ability to build key relationships, influence, and motivate others.
