The Nursing Admissions Coordinator collaborates with various hospital departments to facilitate safe and effective patient management. Additionally, this position plays a crucial role in mentoring and supporting nursing staff throughout the assigned shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and uphold facility policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Manage medication orders and oversee the medication dispensing process.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
  • Assess patients' medical needs, focusing on infection control and timely care.
  • Work alongside the nutritionist to address dietary requirements of patients.
  • Communicate effectively with case managers regarding patients' health status.
  • Assist in managing injuries and accidents, providing necessary consultations to direct care staff.

Compensation: This position offers a starting salary of $32.50, with potential increases based on education and experience.

Work Schedule: A standard 40-hour work week with some flexibility in scheduling.

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Current Registered Nurse certification.
  • Active Registered Nurse license in the State of Kansas.
  • Valid driver's license and insurance.
  • Experience: A minimum of three to six months in a related role or equivalent educational background.
