KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare patients for radiological assessments.
- Generate radiographs (x-rays) to assist in diagnosing medical conditions.
- Ensure patient safety by minimizing unnecessary radiation exposure.
- Follow established protocols and guidelines to execute job functions.
- Operate under direct supervision.
- Exhibit a degree of creativity and flexibility in performing tasks.
- Typically reports to a chief technologist or department manager.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate's degree from an accredited educational program.
- Must hold registration as a technologist with the A.R.R.T. and IEMA.
- Possesses knowledge of commonly utilized concepts, practices, and procedures within the field.
