Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met.
- Support the Executive Housekeeper and collaborate with hotel management.
- Focus on enhancing guest satisfaction scores through effective leadership.
- Perform self-audits to identify areas for improvement in cleanliness and service.
- Monitor staffing levels in relation to room occupancy and productivity.
- Delegate specific tasks to housekeeping associates to optimize workflow.
- Prioritize cleaning of vacant rooms based on occupancy needs.
- Verify the status of rooms prepared for incoming guests, especially VIPs.
- Ensure that housekeeping staff are equipped with necessary supplies and that carts are organized.
- Report any maintenance issues to the General Manager or Executive Housekeeper.
- Assist housekeeping staff with their duties as required.
- Participate in cleaning public areas when necessary.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within the hotel industry.
- Familiarity with specific hotel brands is advantageous.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven leadership and supervisory abilities.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in English; bilingual candidates are a plus.
- Ability to learn and utilize property management software.
- Comfortable with common computer applications.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
