Job Summary

ABF Freight is seeking a skilled Local City Driver to join our team. As a Local City Driver, you will be responsible for the safe transportation of cargo to and from various destinations within our service area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pickup and delivery of cargo to and from various destinations within our service area.
  • Loading and unloading of trailers utilizing the same techniques, technology, and procedures as a dock worker.
  • Ensuring the safe and secure transportation of cargo.
  • Meeting and exceeding customer service expectations.
Requirements
  • Minimum 21 years of age.
  • 1 year of verifiable tractor/trailer experience (candidates with less than 1 year experience may be eligible for training).
  • Class-A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker, and hazardous materials endorsements and no automatic restriction.
  • Good stable work record.
  • Safe driving record (from MVR and previous employment).
  • Ability to pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and meet DOT medical requirements.
