Mental Health Specialist

Merced County, CA is seeking a skilled Staff Psychiatrist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a valid license to practice psychiatry issued by the California Medical Board and be board certified or board eligible in Psychiatric Medicine by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
The Staff Psychiatrist will provide general, acute, and continuing psychiatric care to patients in mental health and alcohol and drug centers. This includes emergency on-call consultations, collaborating with other medical and substance abuse practitioners, and advising staff on appropriate treatment techniques for specific cases.
The salary for this position is estimated at $225,846.40 - $275,246.40 annually. Benefits include 10 days of vacation time after 5 years of continuous employment, sick leave, and 12 paid holidays annually.
