Semiconductor Test Engineer

The Test Engineer will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and performance of semiconductor products. This position involves developing and executing test plans, analyzing test data, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in product reliability and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, implement, and maintain test plans, procedures, and test cases for semiconductor devices.
- Design and optimize automated test setups and test scripts to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Conduct detailed analysis of test data to identify trends, root causes of failures, and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with design, process, and product engineering teams to define test requirements and specifications.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and company quality guidelines.
- Provide technical support for production testing and troubleshoot issues that arise during testing.
- Prepare comprehensive test reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
- Stay current with advancements in semiconductor testing methodologies and equipment.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in semiconductor testing or a similar field.
- Proficiency with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and automated test systems.
- Strong understanding of semiconductor device physics and testing methodologies.
- Experience with test software development and scripting languages (e.g., Python, C/C++).
- Expertise in CAD system schematic and layout (routing).
- Familiarity with industry-standard equipment such as Prober, handler, and ATE (Automatic Test Equipment).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and accuracy.
- Experience with mixed-signal and digital testing.
- Familiarity with statistical analysis tools and methodologies.
- Knowledge of industry standards such as JEDEC, AECQ, and MIL-STD.
- Experience with semiconductor manufacturing processes and reliability testing.
