Job Summary

Advanced Radiology Consultants is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Radiology Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greets patients and visitors with warmth and compassion, ensuring a positive experience from the start.
  • Communicates effectively with referring physicians, patients, and staff to provide accurate information and schedule appointments.
  • Completes patient admission process efficiently, ensuring accurate and timely processing of patient information.
  • Provides and explains exam preps to patients, resolving any questions or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Receives and records patient copays, ensuring compliance with established protocols and schedules.
  • Assists technologists, patient care assistants, physicians, and other staff as needed, providing support and ensuring seamless operations.
  • Scans documents accurately and ensures timely delivery of incoming faxes.
  • Maintains records of outside reads, ensuring timely communication of results.
  • Stocks and prepares radiologic rooms, assisting patients on and off the exam table as needed.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Medical Office Assistant Program preferred.
  • Minimum 1-2 years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong typing skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bi-lingual skills a plus.
