Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at Acoya Shea Senior Living. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our community, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain all assigned areas in a clean and sanitary condition, including residents' apartments, common areas, and outside spaces.
  • Wash, dust, polish, vacuum, mop, and sweep all areas of the establishment.
  • Follow community cleaning schedule and protocol according to community guidelines, following established safety precautions.
  • Report all repair requests or safety hazards.
  • Perform laundry duties as assigned.
  • Assure that equipment, tools, supplies, etc., are properly stored at all times.

Requirements

  • A positive team player mentality and passion for serving seniors.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and their uses, and cleaning equipment is a plus.
  • Attention to detail and high integrity.
  • Previous experience working in a hotel, Independent Living (IL), Assisted Living (AL), Memory Care (MC), or Senior Living experience is a plus.
