Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist

Description of the RoleAs a key member of our team, you will be working as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide high-quality support to students with communication needs. Our ideal candidate should have a strong passion for creating an inclusive learning environment and experience in school-based settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • You will assess and diagnose speech and language disorders in students, developing individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to their specific needs.
  • Your expertise will be utilized to provide direct therapy services, both one-on-one and in small groups, ensuring students receive targeted support.
  • You will collaborate closely with teachers and school staff to integrate speech and language goals into classroom activities, enhancing student outcomes.
  • Additionally, you will educate and support parents and guardians on strategies to promote their child's communication development.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution is required.
  • Active licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Massachusetts is mandatory.
  • Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is highly desirable but not essential.
  • Prior experience in school-based settings is preferred, though not necessary.
  • You must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with colleagues, parents, and students.
