">- We are seeking a skilled and dedicated School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Medford, Massachusetts.
Job Description
">In this role, you will be responsible for assessing and diagnosing speech and language disorders in students, developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs), and providing direct therapy services both one-on-one and in small groups.
">Responsibilities:
">- Assess and diagnose speech and language disorders in students.
- Develop and implement IEPs for students with communication needs.
- Provide direct therapy services to students.
- Monitor and document student progress.
- Collaborate with teachers and school staff to integrate speech and language goals into classroom activities.
- Educate and support parents on strategies to support their child's communication development.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings.
Requirements & Qualifications
">- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Active Massachusetts SLP licensure.
- Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is preferred.
- Previous school-based experience is highly preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
