Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Medical Office Coordinator to join our team at MidLantic Urology in Philadelphia, PA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with patient check-in and check-out processes, ensuring accurate and efficient registration and billing.
  • Verify patient insurance coverage and process co-pays for medical appointments.
  • Schedule appointments for patients, either via phone or during the check-out process.
  • Manage clinical calls from patients, forwarding them to the appropriate provider as needed.
  • Document all interactions and patient information in our Electronic Health Records (EHR) system.
  • Manage messages from patients to providers and track medication refill requests.
Requirements
  • One year of customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Healthcare registration or admitting experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and health care billing and authorization processes is desired.
