Nittany AI Challenge Program Director

Program Overview
The Nittany AI Challenge Program Manager will play a pivotal role in driving AI-driven innovations through experiential student engagement. This position is at the heart of the Nittany AI Alliance, a project-based learning environment where cross-disciplinary teams use artificial intelligence to develop solutions addressing societal challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead workshops and foster team synergy to support skill development in AI/ML/LLMs.
- Collaborate with student organizations, faculty, and industry partners to enhance participation and mentorship.
- Build and maintain relationships with alumni, industry partners, and government agencies.
- Recruit judges and mentors from these networks to support the Challenge.
- Organize and manage the annual Nittany AI Challenge, guiding teams through prototype and MVP development.
- Organize and conduct events and meetings to provide resources and advice.
- Advise the Nittany AI Student Society and other student groups on strategic initiatives that align with the goals of the Nittany AI Alliance.
- Work with marketing teams to promote events and achievements across platforms, enhancing visibility within the AI community.
Requirements
- Minimum requirement is a Master's degree plus six (6) years of relevant experience. Or, an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in program management, particularly in educational or technology sectors desired.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Passion for AI and its potential to drive societal change.

The salary range for this position, including all possible grades is: $51, $74,000.00
