At Penn State University Talent Acquisition, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to fill the role of Assistant/Associate Director of Development for the College of Education. In this position, you will have the opportunity to engage with a dynamic team of professionals who share your passion for making a positive impact on the lives of students and faculty.
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and cultivating a prospect pool of graduates and other key constituencies, articulating Penn State's needs, ambitions, and values through excellent informal and formal communications, planning and executing solicitation strategies leading to major gifts, and traveling extensively throughout the region and across the country to pursue these strategies and build enduring relationships. This position will be filled as Professional or Intermediate Professional depending upon the successful candidate's competencies, education, and experience.

About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled fundraiser to join our team and contribute to the success of the College of Education. The successful candidate will have a track record of success in securing major gifts and meeting fundraising goals, a dedication to and understanding of the skills required to build relationships with diverse communities, demonstrated knowledge of diversity, equity, and inclusion in higher education, and exemplary interpersonal and communication skills. The salary range for this position is $56,000.00 - $102,300.00, and the position is based at the University Park campus in State College, Pennsylvania.
