Job Summary

Tuva, an Akima Company, is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to support the Government's security efforts in migrating the current National Crime Information Center (NCIC) system to the cloud for the next generation system (N3G).

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and implement security measures to protect computer systems, networks, and data from loss and service interruptions.
  • Analyze and document security risks, breaches, and other cyber security incidents and the damage they cause.
  • Develop and implement a network disaster recovery plan and oversee the monitoring of the computer networks for security issues.
  • Collaborate with the security team to perform tests and find network weaknesses.
  • Research and keep current on the latest IT intelligence technologies, trends, and security standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in system architecture, systems engineering, or security architecture
  • Minimum 10 years of providing technical guidance on security architecture development, secure software development methodologies, techniques, and best practices
  • Minimum 5 years of experience reviewing and evaluating system designs and architectures for potential security weaknesses and providing recommendations on mitigations
  • Top Secret Security Clearance with ability to attain SCI
Desired Qualifications
  • Prior work experience with the Federal Government, particularly with the FBI
  • Current security certification such as the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or the Certified Information Systems Security Management Professional (ISSMP)
