Key Responsibilities
• Conduct evaluations and administer physical therapy treatments based on physician directives, including the recommendation and acquisition of assistive devices.
• Set measurable objectives and formulate treatment strategies to assist patients in achieving their highest level of independence and functionality.
• Facilitate communication among the healthcare team, physicians, patients, and family members as necessary.
• Ensure comprehensive and timely documentation of services rendered to guarantee accurate billing.
• Oversee the activities of Physical Therapist Assistants and Physical Therapy Aides in direct patient care and related tasks, adhering to state regulations.
Qualifications
• A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A current, unrestricted license as a Physical Therapist in the state of practice.
• Current BLS or CPR certification in compliance with state requirements.
• At least one (1) year of experience in Physical Therapy is preferred.
