Our facility is a newly established, 58,000 square foot, 52-bed rehabilitation center focused on the recovery of patients facing challenges such as strokes, traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, and other complex medical conditions.

Our hospital features all private rooms and is equipped with advanced therapeutic technologies, including augmented reality balance training and full-body exoskeletons, to enhance the rehabilitation experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments.
  • Deliver care according to physician directives and established care plans.
  • Evaluate treatment effectiveness and adjust plans to meet rehabilitation goals.
  • Coordinate patient discharge planning.
  • Engage with patients, families, and healthcare team members to achieve optimal rehabilitation outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and program development.
  • Contribute to budget planning and cost-effectiveness of services.
  • Assess and address educational needs of patients and families.
  • Ensure a safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff by implementing appropriate safety measures.
  • Utilize leadership skills to mentor and supervise staff, including interns and volunteers.
  • Engage in quality improvement processes for the department and institution.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Applicants should possess a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field recognized by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Candidates must hold or be eligible for a Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA or be eligible to participate as an ASHA Clinical Fellow (CFY). A valid state license and current Basic Life Support/CPR certification are also required.

Compensation:

The hourly wage for this position is $65.22, with potential for variation based on specific circumstances.
