Job Summary

Patient First is seeking a highly skilled Insurance Representative to join our team. As an Insurance Representative, you will play a critical role in ensuring that patients receive accurate and timely insurance payments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and process insurance claims to ensure compliance with payer contracts
  • Verify patient eligibility and benefits to ensure accurate payments
  • Correct registration errors on patient accounts
  • Research and resolve insurance-related issues
  • Communicate effectively with patients, insurance representatives, and internal teams
  • Maintain accurate records and reports
  • Meet productivity and quality standards
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Knowledge of general insurance policies and procedures
  • Microsoft Office experience required
  • Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Professional Coder Apprentice (CPC-A) certification preferred
  • Three years of experience in healthcare or medical billing preferred
  • Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize, organize, and multitask in a timely manner
