Job Summary:
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Billing Specialist to join our clients team. This position is responsible for managing denied claims, following up with insurance companies, correcting errors, and resubmitting claims to ensure accurate and timely payment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the medical billing process, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and Manage Denied Claims:
  • Identify and analyze denied claims, determine the reasons for denial, and develop strategies for resolution.
  • Insurance Follow-Up:
  • Communicate with insurance companies to resolve issues related to claim denials and ensure claims are processed efficiently.
  • Claim Corrections and Resubmissions:
  • Correct billing errors and resubmit claims to insurance providers to ensure payment is received promptly.
  • Documentation:
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all claims, denials, and communications with insurance companies.
  • Communication:
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and other team members to gather necessary information and ensure accurate billing.
  • Compliance:
  • Ensure all billing activities are in compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.

Qualifications:

  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in medical billing, specifically working with denied claims and insurance follow-ups.
  • Knowledge:
  • Strong understanding of medical billing processes, insurance procedures, and claim resolution strategies.
  • Skills:
  • Excellent attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and proficiency in medical billing software.
  • Communication:
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with insurance representatives and healthcare providers.
  • Independence:
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Pay Details:

$18.00 to $22.00 per hour
