Job Description:

You will work in a fast-paced environment, administering quality physical therapy services to patients of various ages, ranging from geriatric to pediatric. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering physical therapy treatments as per treatment plans established by physical therapists
  • Providing and progressing treatment according to physician orders, professional standards, and departmental protocols
  • Teaching patient care classes and groups for specific disorders
  • Communicating outcomes to evaluating therapists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
  • Completing chart documentation as outlined by Kaiser Permanente and state license requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • A Graduate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
  • Basic knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology relevant to PTA
  • Successful completion of clinical internships
  • High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required
  • Physical Therapy Assistant License (in the state where care is provided)
  • Basic Life Support certification within 2 months of hire

Estimated Salary: $63,400 - $83,600 per year, depending on location and experience.
