About the Role

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a skilled Physiotherapy Support Professional to join their team in Tualatin, Oregon.

Job Summary:

This full-time position involves administering quality physiotherapy services following treatment plans established by physical therapists. The successful candidate will be responsible for restoring function, preventing disability, and returning patients to their maximal potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality physiotherapy treatments to patients of all ages, providing and progressing treatment according to treatment plans, physician orders, professional standards, and departmental protocols.
  • Teach patient care classes and groups for specific disorders as per physician orders and departmental policies.
  • Communicate outcomes to evaluating therapists, physicians, and other health professionals, ensuring timely completion of chart documentation as required by Kaiser Permanente and State License regulations.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor, demonstrating dependability, flexibility, and teamwork, while continuously enhancing professional competency through continuing education, in-services, peer review, and self-evaluation.
Requirements:
  • A graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program with a strong foundation in anatomy, physiology, and pathology relevant to PTA practice.
  • Basic Life Support certification within two months of hire.
  • Physical Therapy Assistant License in the state where care is provided.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • One year of experience in a comparable setting, preferably in a clinic environment.
  • Demonstrated skills in group dynamics and leading classes.
