About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Health Information Specialist I to join our team at Datavant. As a key member of our data logistics team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of patient health information.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and manage patient health records in accordance with company and facility policies and procedures.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of privileged information.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain a working knowledge of company and facility software.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and respond to requests for patient records in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Assist with administrative duties such as data entry, faxing, and mail handling.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new software.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare environment preferred.
