Position Type: Part-Time (37.5 hours biweekly)

Work Schedule: Varies

Compensation: $23.77 per hour

Role Summary:

The Environmental Services Associate is responsible for maintaining a sanitary and welcoming environment throughout the hospital. This encompasses all patient and non-patient areas, including examination rooms, restrooms, nursing stations, ancillary spaces, elevators, hallways, offices, and work areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Thoroughly clean all designated areas utilizing the cleaning agents and equipment provided by the facility.
  • Remove, sanitize, and re-hang cubical curtains and window drapes as necessary.
  • Accurately count incoming linens, prepare exchange carts for distribution, and maintain precise linen delivery records.
  • Transport clean linens and collect soiled linens from assigned floors.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Familiarity with cleaning and sanitizing practices.
  • Preferred experience with cleaning machinery, such as buffing machines and wall washing machines.
