As a Medical Office Associate I, you will provide exceptional patient care and administrative support in our outpatient infusion setting. Your primary responsibilities will include managing phones, greeting patients, scheduling and confirming appointments, and maintaining accurate patient information. You will also be responsible for verifying insurance coverage, collecting co-pays, and balancing cash. Additionally, you will support our infusion sites in Rockaway, Morristown, and Bridgewater.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage phones and greet patients in a professional and courteous manner
- Schedule and confirm appointments, ensuring timely and efficient service
- Enter demographics and patient information accurately and efficiently
- Verify insurance coverage and collect co-pays
- Balance cash and maintain accurate financial records
- Support infusion sites in Rockaway, Morristown, and Bridgewater
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent experience is required. Prior administrative experience in a physician practice is strongly preferred. Knowledge of computerized scheduling and EMR systems is a plus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, as is the ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
