Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and present financial reports for executive management.
  • Oversee and evaluate accounts payable and receivable processes.
  • Assist the Controller with various financial operations.
  • Record and track details of financial transactions meticulously.
  • Collaborate with staff accountants as necessary.
  • Engage with subcontractors and project managers to formulate budgets and contracts for construction endeavors.
  • Maintain precise financial records, including contracts, budgets, tax documents, and financial statements.
  • Conduct thorough data entry to ensure accurate input of financial information into accounting systems.
  • Handle invoice processing and address any discrepancies that arise.

Required Skills:

  • Experience with AIA Billing and Contracts is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 3 years in bookkeeping or related fields.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proven capacity to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive under tight deadlines and pressure.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Solid accounting, bookkeeping, and numerical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel (1+ years).
  • Minimum of 2 years experience with Quickbooks.
  • Familiarity with Procore or other Construction Management Software is a plus.
