Job SummaryWe are seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our civil engineering practice, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise, project management, and business development support to our clients. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals and contribute to the growth and success of our company.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical guidance and project management support for civil engineering projects, including planning, design, and construction.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders to identify business opportunities and grow our civil engineering practice.
- Assist in the recruitment, mentoring, and training of staff to ensure the continued growth and development of our team.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless project delivery and excellent client service.
- 15+ years of experience in civil engineering with a strong technical background and at least 10+ years in a project management role.
- B.S. degree in Civil Engineering or related field; M.S. preferred.
- Professional Engineering license required.
- Demonstrated experience with agency permitting, contract and construction management, and contract plan and specification preparation.
- Ability to testify before local boards on behalf of client projects when necessary.
- Senior leader recognized for technical excellence and the development of client-focused, creative, and practical solutions.
- Demonstrated success leading and managing substantial civil engineering projects and accounts.
- Successful Seller-Doer with existing relationships and knowledge of civil engineering clients, programs, and infrastructure.
- Collegial team builder with excellent leadership skills.
- Travel between offices and project/client sites; some overnight travel may be required.
