We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team at Sibley Memorial Hospital, a leading healthcare provider in the Washington, DC area. As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a critical role in preparing and applying ionizing radiation to patients, utilizing advanced technologies such as linear accelerators and proton therapy.
Key Responsibilities- Operate linear accelerators and other radiation therapy equipment
- Collaborate with radiation oncologists, dosimetrists, and physicists to develop individualized treatment plans
- Prepare patients for radiation therapy, ensuring accurate and safe treatment delivery
- Participate in quality assurance protocols to ensure patient safety and well-being
