Radiation Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team at Sibley Memorial Hospital, a leading healthcare provider in Washington, DC. As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a critical role in preparing and applying ionizing radiation to patients, utilizing advanced technologies such as linear accelerators and proton therapy.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and apply ionizing radiation to patients, ensuring accurate and safe treatment delivery
- Collaborate with radiation oncologists, dosimetrists, and physicists to develop individualized treatment plans
- Operate and maintain complex radiation therapy equipment, including linear accelerators and QA dosimeters
- Participate in quality assurance protocols and innovative techniques to ensure patient safety and well-being
- Graduate of an approved Radiation Therapy Technology program
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification in Radiation Therapy
- Valid CPR certification
- Staff level - no experience required; new graduates encouraged to apply
- Competitive salary range: $45.11 - $74.40 per hour
