As an Occupational Therapist with the Good Samaritan Society, you will play a vital role in helping our residents and clients achieve their full potential. We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate therapist to join our team and provide high-quality care to our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Assess clients/patients/residents and design occupational therapy treatments to help them develop, maintain, and recover their ability to perform daily tasks.
  • Conduct evaluations and provide interventions for clients/patients/residents with functional, cognitive, or behavioral impairments.
  • Evaluate physical, cognitive, developmental, and psychosocial abilities of clients/patients/residents and develop realistic therapy goals.
  • Administer appropriate occupational therapy programs and document client's/patient's/resident's information for evaluation.
  • Provide education to clients/patients/residents to enhance their understanding and improve functional outcomes.
Requirements
  • Appropriate education level required in accordance with state licensure.
  • Must be licensed in the state(s) of practice as Occupational Therapist.
  • When working at a Sanford Health Facility, must also be certified through the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
