We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Nursing Assistant to join our team at the Good Samaritan Society in Brainerd, MN. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
Responsibilities- Provide resident-centered care, including daily living assistance, bathing, toileting, grooming, and dressing/undressing.
- Assist with basic health care needs, including vital sign monitoring, and provide psychosocial support to assigned residents.
- Participate in wellness and recreational programs, encouraging residents to engage in activities that promote their physical and mental well-being.
- Document resident interactions, outcomes, and care-related concerns, communicating effectively with the charge nurse.
- High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred.
- Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position.
- Satisfactorily complete yearly department-specific competency testing and maintain a record of continuing education credits.
