Laboratory Technician II

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist II to join our team at Novant Health. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for performing all collection procedures, ensuring policies and procedures are followed, and advising and assisting in the orientation and training of other personnel on equipment and software as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. Bachelor's Degree, preferred.
- Experience: One year of relevant phlebotomy experience, preferred.
- Licensure/Certification: ASCP, ASPT, AMT or NHA, required.
- Additional Skills: Knowledge of current medical terminology to perform full range of laboratory tasks, ability to communicate clearly, and skill in anticipating and reacting calmly to emergency situations.
