Job Summary:

The Millwright Technician will perform a wide variety of duties and tasks associated with the mechanical discipline. These duties and tasks include a multitude of maintenance interventions ranging from basic parts replacements to equipment refurbishment to optimizing equipment performance to advanced troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspection, (parts) replacements, alignment, balancing, installation, and refurbishment of equipment.
  • Understanding the operating principles of equipment and its role in the process/factory.
  • Optimizing equipment function and application to ensure effective maintenance interventions.
  • Performing a variety of joining and fabrication activities, including welding, cutting, brazing, and soldering.

Requirements:
  • 2-year technical degree in a related field or completion of a state-approved millwright apprenticeship.
  • Minimum of 2 years of full-time industrial millwright experience or 5 consecutive years of experience with a high school degree or diploma.
  • Passing a millwright, welding, and basic skills testing, as well as a Safety Screen.
