Job Summary:

The Millwright Technician will perform a wide variety of duties and tasks associated with the mechanical discipline. These duties and tasks include maintenance interventions ranging from basic parts replacements to equipment refurbishment to optimizing equipment performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect, replace, align, balance, install, and refurbish equipment.
  • Understand the operating principles of equipment and its role in the process.
  • Optimize equipment performance by understanding its function and application.
  • Work closely with Production to ensure Maintenance interventions are appropriate and effective.
  • Perform various joining and fabrication activities, including welding, cutting, brazing, and soldering.
Requirements:
  • 2-year technical degree in Industrial Technology, Manufacturing Technology, Mechanical Design, or related field, or completed a state-approved millwright apprenticeship.
  • Minimum 2 years of full-time industrial millwright experience.
Additional Requirements:
  • Pass a millwright, welding, and basic skills testing.
  • Pass a Safety Screen to evaluate ability to safely execute duties and tasks.
