About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager to join our B2B Product, Partnerships, and Client Management (BPPC) team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth, developing strategic initiatives, and managing business planning and investments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic business initiatives to drive revenue growth and premium economics for both Merchants and American Express.
  • Manage business planning and investments, including preparation for Strategic Quality Plan (SQP) and Business Unit Review (BUR) meetings.
  • Coordinate and execute critical BPPC level meetings, such as town halls and VP leadership meetings.
  • Manage operating expenses, colleague initiatives, and general business coordination.
  • Act as the central point of contact for Blue Box Partners.
  • Manage colleague activities, including PMP and Scorecards.
  • Manage and evolve Rewards and Recognition Program.
  • Oversee BPPC colleague engagement teams.
Requirements
  • Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Exceptional strategic thought leadership and the ability to drive to key business insights.
  • Superior project management skills and ability to work in a complex matrix and fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to build relationships, influence, and negotiate without direct authority.
  • Passion, a Will to Win, take initiative, and drive business results.
  • Sense of Urgency.
  • Sense of humor.
  • BA Required-MBA Preferred.
  • Employment eligibility to work with American Express in the U.S. is required as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for these positions.
