Job Title: 1st Shift Press Brake Operator

Job Summary

Aerotek is seeking a skilled 1st Shift Press Brake Operator to join our team. As a Press Brake Operator, you will be responsible for the setup and operation of CNC Press brakes that form sheet metal parts used in the assembly of various products. Your attention to detail and problem-solving skills will be essential in ensuring the quality of finished parts and troubleshooting basic machine issues.

Key Responsibilities

* Set up and operate CNC Press brakes to form sheet metal parts
* Utilize hand and power tools as needed to complete tasks
* Troubleshoot basic machine issues and follow SOPs
* Perform quality inspections on finished parts

Requirements

* Basic setup and operation of CNC Press brakes
* Utilization of hand and power tools
* Troubleshooting basic machine issues
* Following SOPs
* Quality inspection

Work Environment

This is a fully on-site position in Gorham, Maine. You will be working in a manufacturing setting with approximately 50-60 people on the first shift. The job involves working with metal parts, including cast iron, and requires standing on your feet. Steel-toed shoes and long pants are mandatory.
