Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Machine Learning Engineer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machine learning and experience in implementing and training machine learning algorithms and statistical analyses.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop novel machine learning algorithms and indicators for time-series forecasting, with applications in actuarial reserving and the development of affordability programs.
  2. Implement state-of-the-art machine learning models and evaluate their performance.
  3. Communicate the performance of machine learning algorithms across an interdisciplinary team.
  4. Write internal and external documentation of novel algorithms, including publications in machine learning and other scientific conferences and journals.
  5. Develop research and innovation agendas.
  6. Collaborate with fellow scientists and engineers.
Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

  • 5+ years of industry/academic experience in machine learning or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience in implementing and training machine learning algorithms and statistical analyses, including non-parametric tests, linear mixed models, modern supervised and unsupervised machine learning algorithms such as SVM, random forest, PCA, t-SNE, clustering, deep learning, and LLMs.
  • Experience with Python, Apache Spark (PySpark, Databricks), and DevOps tools (Git, GitHub Actions, Docker, etc.).
