Title Closing Specialist

This role is responsible for facilitating the closing process, ensuring all necessary documents and balances are prepared and executed for sales and mortgage transactions. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be able to work in a team environment, and have a high degree of integrity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor transactions for completeness and compliance, preparing and reviewing closing documents as needed.
  • Conduct closings, acting as liaison between lenders, buyers, sellers, attorneys, and real estate agents.
  • Examine title commitments to collect pertinent information and waive exceptions.
  • Prepare and submit closed loan packages, deposits, and disbursement documentation.
  • Respond to returned or rejected mortgage or recording packages, and assist lenders as needed.
  • Prepare transferring and mortgage documentation, Closing Disclosures, and other required documents.
  • May be responsible for marketing and growing branch volume, attending sales meetings and interacting with lending and banking partners.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent.
  • One to two years title closing experience.
  • Strong computer skills, marketing and sales skills preferred.
  • Superior communication skills, including presentation skills, and strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
