Job Overview

AAG-55 Anderson Automotive Group, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Automotive Accounting Manager to join our team. As a key member of our financial operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate representation of the financial condition of our dealership, implementing controls necessary for the proper conduct of the business, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with store leadership, including General Managers and Department Managers.
  • Maintain effective communication with General Manager, Controller, and Executive Management team.
  • Communicate risks and opportunities with operational leaders.
  • Understand and maximize benefits from manufacturers' incentive programs and payment structures.
  • Prepare timely and accurate financial statements, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliations and reporting.
  • Analyze and interpret financial data and recommend changes to improve systems and processes for financial controls and performance.
  • Monitor and analyze monthly operating expenditures against budget, and identify expense and gross profit opportunities.
  • Maintenance of proper accounting schedules, chargebacks, adjustments, and balance sheet accounts.
  • Assist in the budgeting process.
  • Assist in audits and year-end review.
  • Ensure all store transactions are processed timely, accurately, and by company policies and procedures.
  • Promote a positive culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Automotive industry experience required.
  • CDK Experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or 5 years commensurate experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and a sense of urgency.
  • Ability to coordinate various activities simultaneously, excellent organizational and time management skills, and interpersonal skills.
  • A valid driver's license with an acceptable motor vehicle record is required.
