Care Coordinator

MAB Community Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to fill the role of Individual Supports Worker. This part-time, non-benefitted position is located in the Boston area and provides direct adult companion care to individuals with brain injuries and other chronic medical and mental health conditions.
The successful candidate will provide support in the community or at the individual's residence, with the goal of maximizing their capacity for personal growth, independence, and community membership. Responsibilities include assisting individuals with setting up and accessing services, transportation to activities and medical appointments, grocery shopping, cooking, cleaning, and support with activities of daily living at home.

Requirements:
A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required; a bachelor's degree and related experience are highly preferred. Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to work with adults with developmental disabilities and/or brain injury or those with substance abuse, mental health, or dual diagnosis needs independently in the community, are essential.
