Job Summary

Breckenridge and Edwards Building Centers, a leading provider of lumber and specialty building materials, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Seasonal Yard/Inventory Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our warehouse and yard operations, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient receipt, storage, and shipment of inventory items.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a forklift safely and efficiently to stock lumber and building materials in the warehouse and yard.
  • Receive and count incoming inventory items, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Stock and organize inventory in designated bins and storage locations.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment, including emptying trash receptacles and keeping bays and staging areas tidy.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Monitor inventory levels and report any discrepancies or concerns to management.
  • Participate in and complete assigned trainings to enhance knowledge and skills.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • No prior experience necessary, but a willingness to learn and adapt to new situations is essential.
  • Ability to perform basic math, read orders, and write instructions.
  • Proficiency with or ability to learn current technologies, including inventory control systems and other business applications.
