Job Summary

UNC Health is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team in Carrboro, North Carolina.

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to conduct routine procedures and tests using radiology equipment to acquire patient diagnostic data. The successful candidate will prepare for and assist the radiologist in completion of intricate radiographic procedures, including preparation and administration of contrast media and medications in accordance with state and federal regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducts routine procedures and tests using radiology equipment to acquire patient diagnostic data.
  • Prepares for and assists the radiologist in completion of intricate radiographic procedures.
  • Performs patient assessments and provides patient care.
  • Evaluates the appropriateness of examination and assesses the quality of radiographic images.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree or completion of an accredited Radiologic Sciences Program.
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiological Sciences or registry eligible and become registered within one (1) year from date of hire.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
